❤❤ In Honor of Black History Month, I’m dedicating almost all my post to some of the best black writers I’ve ever known, as well as writing a few of my own. So go check out a piece of history and open your mind to new literature!

    1. To be honest, to learn our history-our real history-requires a lot more than what we learn in school. America will never give us our credit so the most you will hear in high school history books will praise white history. Literature is great way to learn more and the poetry of past times tell our history in the most unique way. You can learn a lot.

    1. True, it is definitely in full effect with today’s society. That mentality has become normal for so long, it’s like it has always been there. As far as the Light skin vs.dark, I believe it is worse with black women than men. (Just my opinion)

    1. Trust me I have thought about it, but I’m not sure it will sell. People are not in love with reading and poetry like they used to be. But I’m working on new poems now. Should have something new to post soon, so be on the look out

  4. When I self published in 2009 I ordered only 500 books so you can control the amount of books you wanna order the more books you order the cheaper it is you set your price start with family and friends The one thing about poetry doesnt matter how old a book may be its still new to someone who never read it
